General Mosconi or Mosconi (formerly: El Chorro ) is the capital of the Ramón Lista department in the Formosa province in northern Argentina . In the classification of the municipalities of the province it belongs to the municipalities ( Municipio ) of the 3rd category.

The year of establishment of the place is 1901. It was named after the oil engineer General Enrique Mosconi .
