content of the film
The film shows the life of high society in California, for whom plastic surgery and pill addiction are just as normal as letting toddlers compete in modeling competitions. He primarily asks the question of what drives people: is it the money, the craving for recognition or the beauty craze? People are shown who absolutely want to belong to this wealthy group at any cost.

The original English version of the film was first released in American cinemas on July 20, 2018. The first European release took place at the 68th Berlin International Film Festival , where it was part of the Panorama program. The German-language cinema release took place on January 31, 2019.
