Genezarethkirche (Unterschleißheim)
The Genezareth Church in Unterschleißheim is a church building of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria that was completed in 1962 .
history
Building history
On September 24, 1961, the cornerstone of the Church of Galilee was laid. It was inaugurated on the 1st of Advent 1962. The architect was Wilhelm Becker. The Galilee Church is 21 m long, 11 m wide and has around 250 seats with the gallery.
The tower of the Church of Galilee is 35 meters high. The sculpture on the tower represents the creation of man.
The altarpiece was designed by Angela Gsänger and depicts the calming of the storm on the Sea of Galilee .

The organ of the Galilee Church was built by the Rieger Orgelbau company and has 21 registers.
The organ was inaugurated on April 24, 1966 by the dean Georg Lanzenstiel . Before that, she had been in the Christ Church in Munich for 10 years .
