Geochemical Society

The Geochemical Society is an international scientific society promoting geochemistry and cosmochemistry. Its headquarters are in the Faculty of Earth Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis . It has about 3000 members worldwide.

It awards the VM Goldschmidt Award , the CC Patterson Award in Environmental Geochemistry and the FW Clarke Medal for young scientists. Their annual meeting is in the VM Goldschmidt conferences.

She publishes Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta (24 issues a year, published since 1950) and is co-editor of Elements: An International Magazine of Mineralogy, Geochemistry, and Petrology (6 issues a year). She also publishes book series.
