Berat Çetinkaya (born January 1, 1991 in Sakarya ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

societies

Çetinkaya began with club football in the youth of Sakaryaspor and played here for six seasons exclusively for the youth and later for the reserve team. In 2008 he received a professional contract and was involved in the professional squad. He made his debut on September 25, 2008 in the cup match against Denizlispor . The rest of the season he continued to play for the youth team. In the 2009/10 season he was called back to the professional squad and completed 16 matches by the end of the season. His breakthrough came in his third season with the professionals. He finished the season with his team as the relegation winner of the TFF 2nd Lig and rose to the TFF 1st Lig . In the 2011/12 season Sakaryaspor was imposed a transfer ban on the part of the football association, so that you had to survive the season with the existing players. In this constellation, Çetinkaya immediately fought for a regular place and developed over the season to the top performers of his team. With his 30 league games, he was one of the most conspicuous players on his team.

After his contract with Sakaryaspor expired in the summer of 2012, he moved to the traditional Turkish club Beşiktaş Istanbul on a free transfer . After the preparatory camp, Çetinkaya was sorted out and added to the list of players to be loaned out. A short time later, he was loaned to the second division Adana Demirspor for a season. For the 2013/14 season he was loaned to the second division club Kahramanmaraşspor . For the next second half of the season he returned prematurely to Beşiktaş. After his return, however, he was not included in the team squad.

National team

As part of the Toulon 2012 tournament , Çetinkaya was appointed to the second selection of the Turkish national team in May 2012 . The Turkish A2 nominated here for players younger than 23 years to meet the age requirements for the tournament. The team made it to the finals and was subject to Mexico's selection.
