Geomechanics and Tunneling has been published by the Austrian Society for Geomechanics (ÖGG) since 2008 and is published by Ernst & Sohn. The bi-monthly magazine in English and German publishes articles and reports from tunneling and rock construction . Particular attention is paid to the practical aspects of applied engineering geology as well as rock and soil mechanics . The international advisory board is chaired by Bernd Moritz ( ÖBB Infrastruktur , Graz) and Robert Galler ( Montanuniversität Leoben ). The editor-in-chief of Geomechanics and Tunneling is Helmut Richter.
