For the 11th season of Geordie Shore , the entire cast of the previous season (except James) goes to Greece . Special places were Zakynthos , Malia and Ios as well as Athens . The focus of the season is the relationship crisis of Holly and Kyle, who leaves the series after the breakup. Chloe's jealous drama about Scott also begins. In the last episode of the season, Marnie's friend Ricky proposes to her, whereupon she also leaves the series. Nathan admits his homosexuality and receives a lot of encouragement from his residents. Season 12 began broadcasting in spring 2016 .
