The Georg Lechner Beer Museum in Oelde is a museum about beer and its production . The focus is on the history of the Westphalian brewing industry.

Several thousand exhibits are exhibited on an area of ​​over 300 m². In addition to an original brewhouse from 1900, brewery equipment , enamel signs and over 1000 beer mugs are on display. The eponymous museum director is a master brewer and collector of beer labels . His collection includes 220,000 labels and is also in the museum.

building

A new building by Pott's Naturpark-Brauerei GmbH from the 1990s was expanded in 2003 to include the beer museum.
