history
In the 1st century the Terracina diocese was established and placed directly under the Holy See . The diocese Terracina were on January 17, 1217 by Pope Honorius III. with the papal bull Hortatur nos the dioceses of Sezze and Priverno are affiliated.
The Diocese of Terracina, Priverno and Sezze was renamed on September 12, 1967 in the Diocese of Terracina-Latina, Priverno and Sezze . On September 30, 1986, the Diocese of Terracina-Latina, Priverno and Sezze was renamed the Diocese of Latina-Terracina-Sezze-Priverno by the Congregation for Bishops with the decree Instantibus votis .
