Georg Pingler Fountain
The Georg-Pingler-Brunnen is a fountain in Königstein im Taunus . It is a listed building .
The fountain
The Germania memorial was located in the place of today's fountain until 1913, which was moved to the corner of Theresenstraße and Limburger Straße and melted down in 1917. The Frankfurt sculptor Karlschichtel created the listed fountain in Art Nouveau style in 1913 . He reminds of Georg Pingler .
The multi-part system consists of a wall that tapers off in semicircular flanks and surrounds the fountain basin. In the middle of the back wall is the bronze medallion with the picture of Georg Pingler.
