Georg Deuter
Georg Deuter , artist name Deuter , (* 1. February 1945 in Falkenhagen ) is a German, now in the United States -based New Age musician .
As a boy he learned to play the flute and guitar himself and initially worked as a graphic designer and journalist in Munich. An almost fatal car accident and influences from Sufism brought him to a new, deeper understanding of music.
His records, which have been published since the early 1970s, combine nature (his own recordings of nature), heart (flute and guitar melodies) and silence (synthesizer space, form and atmosphere of the pieces). His music combines musical instruments from western and eastern cultures.
In the ashram of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh Osho , Deuter composed the music for various meditation techniques developed by Osho between 1974 and 1980, which have since been used worldwide in the therapeutic and medical field.
