Georg Gindl

Georg Gindl (born June 13, 1916 in Pillichsdorf , † October 29, 1990 in Bad Hall ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ), farmer and winegrower. From 1969 to 1979 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

Gindl served in World War II from 1939 and returned from American captivity in 1946. He then worked as a farmer and winemaker in Pillichsdorf. In 1946 he was elected to the municipal council of Pillichsdorf, and between 1947 and 1965 he held the office of vice mayor. Between 1950 and 1970, Gindl was involved as the district farmers 'chamber chairman, and from 1965 he was also chairman of the Lower Austria regional committee of the farmers' social insurance institution. He was also active in numerous functions in agricultural organizations and cooperatives. Gindl, who represented the ÖVP in the state parliament between November 20, 1969 and April 19, 1979, was awarded the professional title of Economic Council.
