Georg Gottlieb Tischer

Georg (e) Gottlieb Tischer was an electoral Saxon civil servant. He was a chamber commissioner and bailiff in Zeitz as well as a manor owner .

Life

Tischer embarked on a legal administrative career. In 1723 he can be verified as a bailiff in Leisnig . Later he became a chamber commissioner in Zeitz and at the same time also a bailiff and tax collector. In 1738 he was mentioned in Zeitz.

He was heir, feudal lord and court lord in Würchwitz .

In 1770, as a chamber commissioner, he donated a legacy to Johann Christian Schubarth when he sold his Würchwitz manor, which, as an impossible capital of 200 thalers, was to be used to pay interest to two poor scholars at the Zeitz city school after his death.

He married Johanna Dorothea nee Clauer from Dresden , who died early on February 13, 1758 in Zeitz. A funeral sermon appeared in print on this occasion.

His son Johann Carl Tischer replaced him as bailiff in Zeitz. Due to irregularities, Johann Carl Tischer was suspended from the public service in 1801.

His daughter Henrietta Amalia Tischer (born June 27, 1743 in Zeitz; † April 17, 1772 in Jena) married the legal scholar Karl Friedrich Walch (1734–1799) on November 22, 1762 in Zeitz . The daughter Charlotta Amalia Walch (born November 1, 1763 in Jena; † 1834) comes from the marriage
