Georg Heinrich Kaufmann

Georg Heinrich Kaufmann (* before 1816, † after 1837) was a German doctor , Royal Hanoverian personal physician , secret medical councilor, writer and translator.

Life

As a doctor of medicine, Georg Heinrich Kaufmann was appointed personal physician to the King of Hanover in 1820. He later received the title of Secret Senior Medical Officer. In addition to his practical activities, he translated writings from English. As court medic he was temporarily employed as a teacher at the surgical school in Hanover .
