Pedro Nolasco Vergara Albano
Pedro Nolasco Martinez de Vergara and Albano or Pedro Nolasco Vergara Albano (* 1800 in Talca ; † 23 September 1867 in Santiago de Chile ) was a deputy , governor and Chilean landowner .

Son of José Francisco Martínez de Vergara and Rojas-Puebla and María del Rosario Albano and de la Cruz - daughter of Juan Albano Pereira Márquez and Bartolina de la Cruz and Bahamonde. Both tutors from Bernardo O'Higgins
Married to his cousin Mercedes Loys Vergara, with whom he had eleven children. They were: Elisa, Natalia, Víctor, Maria, Agustina, Soledad, Matilde, Rafael, Pedro Nolasco, Sabina and Filomena.
He was the nephew of Vicente , Juan Manuel , Anselmo and Nicolás de la Cruz and Bahamonde . They were also personal friends of Bernardo O'Higgins.
He was the cousin of Diego Vergara Albano , Juan Albano Cruz and Casimiro Albano Cruz .
Pedro Nolasco Vergara Albano was imprisoned during the Reconquista along with 40 other patriots on the Juan Fernández Islands and pardoned on November 26, 1816.
Studies
He completed his undergraduate studies in Talca and secondary in the same city under the direction of the Jesuits . He completed his postgraduate studies at the University of San Felipe , graduating in 1822.
Public life
Deputy
He was elected MP for the Colchagua Province in 1823, re-elected by Talca in 1824, and later by Talca Province from 1827 to 1830. He was re-elected by the same district from 1833 to 1836, until 1847. He achieved great political relevance and served as a deputy until 1847 . Participation in several legislative committees, later retiring into his private life until 1859; he moved to Santiago de Chile, in his house on Calle Huérfanos . He was blind in these moments until his death which made it impossible for him to carry out any public activity.
Governor

Personal life
Vergara Albano was a rancher and landowner. He owned extensive estates in the province of Talca including:
- Fundo Los Libros with 197 blocks (330.96 hectares)
- Fundo Las Doscientas with 870 blocks (1,461.60 hectares)
- Fundo Libún with 606 blocks (1018.08 hectares)
He owned land in the Andes and livestock of over 34,000 live animals.
Being blind since 1859, he relied on his son-in-law Vicente Correa Albano to manage his agricultural business.
death
In 1859 he moved to his house on Calle Huérfano in Santiago de Chile and was blind when he made his will on May 9, 1865. He died in his home on September 23, 1867; and was buried in the mausoleum of Juan Garín Cereceda (1831-1860), who was married to his daughter Soledad Vergara Loys († July 17, 1919). The calculation of his fortune far exceeded the 120,000 pesos
