Georg Hoerger
Georg Friedrich Hoerger (born September 8, 1897 in Herbrechtingen , † July 14, 1975 in Erfurt ) was a German marathon runner .
In 1927 he became master of the Reichswehr in 2:51:09 h. The following year, on June 17, he came third in 2:36:30 h in the German qualifying race for the Olympic Games on an allegedly 40 km long course. Four weeks later he was sixth in the German Championship in 3:03:34 h.
At the Olympic marathon in Amsterdam he finished 46th in 2:59:01 h.
Georg Hoerger started for Eintracht Braunschweig .
