Georg Kurz (chemist)

Georg Kurz (born June 5, 1929 in Pressburg , † December 5, 2005 ) was a food chemist.

Georg Kurz studied biochemistry and food chemistry in Bratislava, and received his doctorate and habilitation from Charles University in Prague. In 1965 he got a visiting professorship at the University of World Trade in Vienna.

The institute he founded in 1974, Professor Dr. Kurz GmbH is now active under Institut Kurz GmbH in Cologne.
