Georg Gustav Müller (* 1803 in Ravelsbach , † 1863 in Linz ) was an Austrian church musician and composer.

The biographical information about Müller is incomplete. Nothing is known about his training. Before 1832 he worked as a military bandmaster. After a short episode as cathedral music director in Großwardein , he became organist and cantor of the Catholic parish church in Orawitz in 1833 . From 1840 to 1850 he worked in the same function at the St. Anna Church in Weisskirchen . His son Eduard Gustav Müller was born here in 1841 and later became a theater conductor in Altenburg. From 1850 until his death he lived as a music teacher in Linz. There he applied for the position of organist in the cathedral church in 1856, which his competitor Anton Bruckner received.

So far, five compositions by Müller have become known: two Tantum ergo for voices and orchestra, the Offertorium Regina coeli , the Corpus Christi offerorium Jesus nostra redemptio and the duet Tu es spes for soprano, bass, choir, chamber ensemble and organ. The latter was performed at the concert 300 years of church music of the Danube Swabians in 2012 in Munich.
