Georg Sanders was a Russian figure skater who started in a single run .
At the first world figure skating championship , which was held, Sanders won the bronze medal behind Gilbert Fuchs and Gustav Hügel in Saint Petersburg in 1896 . It was the only major international competition in which Sanders took part. After completing his active sports career, he worked a number of times as a judge at world and European championships.
