Georg Urban (politician, 1908)
Georg Urban (born November 25, 1908 in Waldenburg ; † after 1962) was a German politician ( GB / BHE , GDP , CDU ).
Urban attended elementary school and the adult education center. He was an insurance apprentice, then an insurance employee, later an office manager and, from 1945, an independent businessman and managing director of a GmbH.
Urban became a member of the GB / BHE in 1950, where he was the local and district chairman in Bad Segeberg and a member of the state board. He was a member of the city council and the Segeberg district council as well as a city councilor and member of the district committee and chairman of a state professional association. From 1958 to 1962 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . Through the merger of GB / BHE with DP in 1961, he became a member of the merged product GDP. In 1962 he switched to the CDU.
