Georg von Haxthausen

Georg von Haxthausen (* unknown; † August 1616 ) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Georg von Haxthausen came from the the nobility in the Bishopric of Paderborn belonging noble family of Haxthausen and was the son of Gottschalk von Haxthausen to Vörden and his wife Agatha Von Furstenberg. On April 10, 1612 George came into the possession of Münster Dompräbende , the Elector Ferdinand in his favor dispensed had. With the revival of the Haxthausen and Fürstenberg families. Oeynhausen and Westphalen in 1613 emancipation followed. Georg remained in possession of the benefice until his death.
