George Aggudey (born April 13, 1945 ) is a Ghanaian politician. Aggudey was a candidate for the Convention People's Party (CPP) in the 2004 presidential election in Ghana .

In the elections on December 7, 2004, Aggudey was the last of the four candidates with an election result of about one percent of the vote.

After the election defeat, voices rose within the party calling for Aggudey to step down as chairman of the CPP. He was accused in particular by the three members of the CPP represented in the parliament of Ghana of being intolerant of other opinions within the party. A disciplinary committee was set up against these three members.

Dr. Kwabena Duffuor is now the chairman of the CPP party. Aggudey has announced that he will run against Duffuor and run as a candidate for the 2008 presidential election.
