George A. Lundberg

George Andrew Lundberg (born October 3, 1895 in Fairdale, North Dakota, † April 14, 1966 in Seattle, Washington) was an American sociologist . Lundberg was a leading proponent of neopositivism and an advocate of mathematical-statistical approaches in sociology . He was also an advocate of the principle of freedom of value judgment and operationalism .

Lundberg was the 33rd president of the American Sociological Society in 1943 .
