George L. Lewis
George L. Lewis (* around 1915 , † after 1949) was an Indian badminton player .
Career
George Lewis was the most important badminton player in India in the period before World War II . From 1936 to 1940 he won five men's singles titles in a row. He won three other mixed titles with Novina George , with whom he celebrated his last major success in 1949. He later emigrated to Canada.
