George Morrell (* around 1872 in Glasgow ; † after 1915) was a Scottish football coach .

Career

Morrell came to Woolwich Arsenal (now Arsenal FC ) in 1908. The Scot previously coached the Scottish club Greenock Morton FC Morrell coached the move from Manor Ground to Highbury and renamed the club Arsenal FC. In 1913 under his leadership, Arsenal rose from the top English league. He remained coach of the Gunners until 1915.
