George Owu (born July 7, 1982 in Accra ) is a soccer player from Ghana .
Career
Owu started his career with Sekondi Hasaacas at the age of 18 . After three years in Kumasi with Asante Kotoko , the goalkeeper moved to the Ashanti Goldfields in 2005 . In 2007 George Owu went to Egypt and joined Al-Masry . From 2010 to 2013 he played again in Ghana with the Ebusua Dwarfs from Cape Coast .
George Owu was part of the Ghanaian squad at the 2004 Olympic Games . However, they were eliminated in the preliminary round. Owu also took part in the 2006 World Cup in Germany as the second goalkeeper for Ghana, without being used.
