George Pólya Award

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The George Pólya Award is a mathematics prize introduced by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) in 1976 and awarded since 1977 for particularly elegant articles that have appeared in the college mathematics journal , also published by the MAA . The award named after George Pólya , which is awarded up to twice a year, is endowed with 1,000 US dollars (as of 2013) .
