George Ramsay, 2nd Earl of Dalhousie

George Ramsay, 2nd Earl of Dalhousie , († before February 11, 1673 or 1674 ) was a Scottish nobleman.

Family and title

Ramsay was born to William Ramsay and his wife, Lady Margaret Carnegie. By contract of December 10, 1644 he married Lady Anne Flemming, daughter of John Fleming, 2nd Earl of Wigton and his wife Margret Linlithgow and widow of Robert Boyd, 8th Lord Boyd . With her he had four daughters and four sons. With the death of his father in November 1672, the title of Earl of Dalhousie passed to him. The hereditary titles passed to his eldest son William with the death of Ramsay .
