Georgi Blisnakov

Georgi Manuilow Blisnakow ( Bulgarian Георги Мануилов Близнаков ; born November 14, 1920 in Berkowiza , † April 2004 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian chemist.

Life

After studying in Sofia, Blisnakow specialized in Moscow . From 1961 he was director and section head at the Institute for General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences . In 1976/77 he was then vice-president of the academy.

In his scientific work he dealt with problems of adsorption , epitaxy and physical chemistry. Blisnakow was awarded the Dimitrov Prize.
