Georgi Zanew , actually Georgi Zanew Zenow ( Bulgarian Георги Цанев ; born September 21, 1895 in Borowan , † July 21, 1986 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian literary scholar .
Life
Zanew worked as a university professor from 1949. From 1959 to 1963 he worked as director of the Institute of Literature of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences , of which he was also a member.
In his academic work he wrote works on Bulgarian literature of the 19th and 20th centuries that are regarded as fundamental.
