Georgios Orfanidis ( Greek Γεώργιος Ορφανίδης , * 1859 in İzmir ; † 1942 ) was a Greek marksman.

Orfanidis won the competition in shooting over 300 meters with a military rifle at the 1st Modern Summer Olympics in Athens in 1896 . In pistol shooting he came second behind his countryman Ioannis Frangoudis . Orfanidis also took part in the 200-meter competition with the military rifle, but only finished fifth here.

Ten years later, Orfanidis took part in the Olympic Intermediate Games , which again took place in Athens . There he won the 50-meter pistol shooting competition.
