Gerald Grebenjak

Gerald Grebenjak (born December 2, 1966 ) is an Austrian politician ( FPK , formerly FPÖ or BZÖ ) and police officer. From 2009 to 2013 he was a member of the Carinthian state parliament .

After primary and secondary school, Grebenjak attended commercial school for a year and then from 1982 to 1985 the gendarmerie school in Krumpendorf. After graduating from the gendarmerie school, Grebenjak was a gendarmerie officer assigned to the gendarmerie posts in Sankt Andrä im Lavanttal and Kühnsdorf between 1985 and 1993 . In addition, from September 1992 to July 1993 he completed the basic training for duty guards in Mödling and has been a duty gendarmerie officer (since 2005 police officer) since completing his training. Grebenjak has been employed at the Völkermarkt police station since July 1, 1993, and was promoted to 3rd deputy commander in 2001.

Grebenjak has been a city councilor in Völkermarkt since 2003 and was also deputy mayor of the municipality from 2009 to 2015. On March 31, 2009 Grebenjak was also sworn in as a member of the Carinthian state parliament. He was area spokesman for the public service and executive in the Freedom State Parliament Club. At the beginning of the 31st legislative period on March 28, 2013, he left the state parliament. Grebenjak also works with the AUF Völkermarkt.

Grebenjak is married and has a son and a daughter.
