Gerard Rigby is a former British figure skater who started out in ice dancing .

His ice dance partner was Barbara Thompson . With her he took part in world and European championships from 1956 to 1958 . At European Championships in 1956 and 1958 they won the bronze medal and in 1957 the silver medal. They won their only medal at world championships in 1956 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with bronze behind their compatriots Pamela Weight and Paul Thomas as well as June Markham and Courtney Jones .
