Gerben de Knegt
Gerben de Knegt (born December 11, 1975 in Tilburg ) is a former Dutch cyclist .
From 1991 to 1996 Gerben de Knegt mainly rode his mountain bike . From 1997 he concentrated on the discipline Cross . In 1999 he was able to win the Paris – Roubaix event for mountain bikers. In 2002 and 2006 he was national champion in cross. In the Super Prestige series he came first, second and third in the 2005/2006 season. This puts him in second place in the overall standings behind Sven Nys .
He ended his career at the end of the 2012/2013 cyclocross season.
