Gerd Helbeck

Gerd Helbeck (* 1937 in Wuppertal ) is a German archivist , local researcher and author of numerous publications on Schwelmer and Wuppertal regional history.

From 1978 to 1997, Helbeck was in charge of the Schwelm City Archives and the Castle Museum in Haus Martfeld . From 1980 to 1983 and from 1992 to 1996 he was chairman of the Schwelm Local History Association .
