Gerd Schulte (politician)

Gerd Hugo Schulte (* 2. March 1943 in Altenhundem ; † 16th February 2019 in Gelsenkirchen ) was a German Politicians of the CDU .

education and profession

Gerd Schulte graduated from high school in 1964. From 1964 to 1967 he studied at the Münster University of Education. There he passed the exam as an elementary school teacher. From September 1967 to December 2002 he worked as a teacher at the Schwalbenstraße secondary school, Gelsenkirchen-Buer. Gerd Schulte taught a. a. Sports and economics and became vice rector there in 1976.

politics

Gerd Schulte had been a member of the CDU since 1964. From 1974 to 1977 he was district chairman of the local young union. From 1977 to 2003 he was chairman of the CDU local association Gelsenkirchen-Buer. He acted as deputy district chairman of the CDU Gelsenkirchen. In 1989 Schulte became the district chairman of the Communal Political Association (KPV) Gelsenkirchen. He became a city councilor in the city council in 1975 and parliamentary group chairman in 1989. Schulte was a member of the " Association of Education and Upbringing " (VBE).

Gerd Schulte was a member of the 13th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , to which he moved on December 2, 2002.
