Gereh

Gereh , other names or spellings are Girre , Gireh and Ghire , was a Persian measure of length. The basis was the Persian Elle Zar , also called Gäz or Zirā (also a Turkish measure of length), with 32 Bahr or 1.04 meters .

  • 1 Gereh = 1/16 Zar = 2 Bahr = 6.5 centimeters ; German: "knot"
    • 1 Bahr = 3.25 centimeters
