The Paldor (also Bharange ) is a so-called trekking peak in the Himalayas .
The mountain is located at the southeast end of the Ganesh Himal massif in the Nepalese administrative zone of Bagmati . The 5896 m (according to other sources 6903 m ) high mountain is a popular destination for mountain tourists. It offers a view of the nearby Ganesh V and Salasungo mountains, 1000 m higher . It is less difficult and offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. Various organizers offer 2-3 week tours to the summit. The mountain offers access via northeast, southeast, west and southwest ridge.
Ascent history
The first ascent of Paldor took place in 1949 by Bill Tilman , Peter Lloyd, Tenzing Sherpa and Da Namgyal over the northeast ridge.
