The Rasuwa district ( Nepali रसुवा जिल्ला ) is one of 77 districts in Nepal .
It is located in the Bagmati administrative zone . At the 2001 census it had 44,731 inhabitants; In 2011 there were 43,300.
In the Langtang massif in Rasuwa, there is a well-known high-mountain trekking area that is closest to Kathmandu . Most of the north-eastern part of the district is part of the Langtang National Park .
