The district Solukhumbu is one of 77 districts in Nepal and has been part of the Constitution of 2015 for Province No. 1, .
geography
It consists of the regions around Mount Everest : Solu and Khumbu . The Likhu Khola river valley forms the western border of the district. In the east of the district runs the valley of the Honku Drangka . Most of the district is drained by the Dudhkoshi .
At the 2001 census, the district had 107,686 inhabitants; In 2011 there were 105,886.
The Mount Everest ( Sagarmatha ) is in the north of the district in the Sagarmatha National Park ; the park is listed as a world heritage site.
