The Kaski District ( Nepali कास्की Kāskī ) is a district in central Nepal .

It belongs to the Gandaki administrative zone . The administrative headquarters are in Pokhara . The district extends over 2017 km² and has 492,098 inhabitants (2011). The Gurung are an important ethnic group in the Kaski district .

The northern half of the district is occupied by the southern flank of the Annapurna massif .
