Chapakot ( Nepali चापाकोट ) is a village and a Village Development Committee (VDC) in the Kaski district of the Gandaki administrative zone in central Nepal .
The VDC Chapakot is located west of Lake Phewa in the southern foothills of the Annapurna Himal .
Residents
The VDC Chapakot had 2637 inhabitants (of which 1151 male) in 680 households at the 2011 census.
