Ghachok ( Nepali घाचोक ) is a village and Village Development Committee (VDC) in the Kaski District of the Gandaki Administrative Zone in central Nepal .
The VDC Ghachok is located 13 km north of Pokhara at the foot of the Annapurna Himal . The place Ghachok is located at an altitude of 1270 m on the western bank of the Seti Gandaki river .
Residents
The VDC Ghachok had 2707 inhabitants (1287 of them male) in 588 households at the 2011 census.
