Dhampus ( Nepali धम्पुस ) is a village and a Village Development Committee (VDC) in the Kaski district of the Gandaki administrative zone in central Nepal .
The VDC Dhampus is located 15 km west-northwest of Pokhara in the southern foothills of the Annapurna Himal .
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDC Dhampus had 2537 inhabitants (1127 of them male) in 620 households.
