Salyan ( Nepali सल्यान ) is a Village Development Committee (VDC) in the Kaski district of the Gandaki administrative zone in central Nepal .
The VDC Salyan extends over a southern branch of the Annapurna Himal along the eastern river bank of the Modi Khola . The place Nayapul is on the road ( Baglung Rajmarg ) between Pokhara and Baglung . In the north Salyan borders on the VDC Lumle .
Residents
The VDC Salyan had 3541 inhabitants (1566 of them male) in 926 households at the 2011 census.
