Gandaki ( Nepali गण्डकी अञ्चल Gandaki Anchal ) was one of the 14 former administrative areas of the state of Nepal .

It was named after the main river of the region, Kali Gandaki , and was located in what was then the western development region in central Nepal. The administrative zone extended over the Annapurna Himal and the upstream mountainous country, and the administrative seat of the zone was the city of Pokhara .

The zone consisted of 6 districts:

By the constitution of September 20, 2015 and the resulting reorganization of Nepal into provinces, the districts of this zone were assigned to the newly created province of the same name Gandaki (initially Province No. 4).
