Lumbini ( Nepali लुम्बिनी अञ्चल ) was one of the former 14 administrative zones of the state of Nepal until 2015.
The administrative zone was named after Lumbini , the birthplace of Buddha , which is located in this zone. Lumbini was in the West developing region in central Nepal. The administrative seat of the zone was Butwal .

With the new constitution of September 20, 2015, the districts of this zone were assigned to Province No. 5 with a total of 12 districts. Part of the Nawalparasi District became part of Gandaki Province (initially Province No. 4).
