The district of Gulmi ( Nepali ल्मी जिल्ला Gulmī Jillā ) is one of 77 districts in Nepal .

The Gulmi district is located in the Lumbini administrative zone . The district extends between the Jhimruk Khola in the west and the lower reaches of the Kali Gandaki in the east. The administrative seat is Tamghas , the capital of the city of Resunga . At the 2001 census it had 296,654 inhabitants; In 2011 there were 280,160.
