Resunga ( Nepali रेसुङगा Resunga ) is a city ( municipality ) in central Nepal in the Gulmi district .

The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Arkhale , Dubichaur , Simichaur and Tamghas . The urban area covers 66.79 km². Resunga is 75 km west of Pokhara as the crow flies .

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDCs that made up the city of Resunga had 28,736 inhabitants (12,812 of whom were male) in 7,448 households.
