The Dolakha District (also Dolkha ; Nepali दोलखा जिल्ला ) is one of 77 districts in Nepal and has belonged to Bagmati Province since the 2015 constitution .

history

Until 2015, the district belonged to the Janakpur administrative zone .

geography

Dolakha is east of Kathmandu .

In the northeast of the district is the well-known Himalayan peak of the Gaurishankar .

At the 2001 census, the district had 204,229 inhabitants; In 2011 there were 186,557.
